Thank you for visiting Hill-Top Candy Kitchen's Website. Since 1946, we have been making Salt Water Taffy, Puff Candy, and Ultra-thin Ribbon Candy for distribution to Retailers in the candy industry. If you own a retail candy store or distribute to the industry, give us a call. We can have a custom taffy box made for your location, as we do now for our finest customers. We ship product UPS daily - throughout the country. Hill-Top Candy Kitchen does not sell directly to the public.

How we make our taffy the old fashioned way.

Since 1946, Hill-Top Candy Kitchen has been making salt water taffy the old fashioned way. First, the finest ingredients are cooked in a copper kettle atop a special gas fired stove. The taffy is then cooled on our custom-made cooling tables before being rolled by our wonderful cooks to craft the special stripes and color displays for which Hill-Top is known. The batch is split into two pieces and placed on our puller machine to stretch the taffy. Then it is back to the cooling table for a few seconds before the taffy is shaped by hand to feed our antique Model K (first built in 1907) taffy machine. This machine cuts the taffy into bite size pieces and wraps the taffy with a unique twist you will not see from modern machines. The fresh taffy is then boxed for shipment that day, to the finest candy shoppes. Our famous flavors are matched to the same color or striped wrapper each time, so you will know what flavor you are about to enjoy. With well over 30 flavors on our menu, you are sure to find several that you will love.
